So it's been a while since I made my last post. But I think the break in between was well worth it because today I have pictures of me wearing my new glasses. My mom doesn't seem to like them very much, but I really like them. Thanks to her for getting them for me; also for the pizza, beer, cookies and pumpkin pie.
































Also, I was trying to balance a bottle on my head while the pictures were being taken. I couldn't do it though.

So Brenna and I made cookies tonite. They were mauvelous! A combination of cheeses, rosemary, sun-dried tomatoes and some other stuff for cementing purposes. Inspired by a recipe Brenna found here

Also, I gave a presentation to a class full of people I don't know today and didn't realize my fly was down until I got home.

Zach dominates most of the match. I thought I had him for a sec, but that didn't really pan out. It's times like this I wish I had had a younger brother growing up.

So day number two of blogging. Two followers so far...gnarly. Thanks Mitch and the other guy. I haven't posted any links to download what I'm listening to, but if anyone would like me to start doing that, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I spent a lot of my day today learning about the new iPad from Apple. It looks pretty sweet so far. What i can gather is it's basically a cross between the iphone and the imac with a little bit of the kindle thrown in. I don't foresee buying in the near future, but if anyone reading this is an early adopter, let me know what you think. I spent the other part of my day at bigK . A man came in to complain to me about his satellite dish and then left. I wonder if when I'm older I'll go places just to complain. Probably.

My First Post

I think it was pretty much bound to happen I would start this. I've been toying with the idea for a while now and have decided to give it shot. Originally I kind of intended this to be a place to document trends that were going viral throughout the house I live in. Thus the name HouseMeme (pronounced meem). What will probably end up happening is me talking about my day, life, existence, etc. So who am I? My name is Charlie. Eventually most people figure out they can call my Charles and I won't mind. Currently I'm a student in Eau Claire but that will stop sometime in May. Things I do for fun include riding my bike, collecting pens, listening to the Notorious B.I.G, watching Andy play video games, snacking, Jeopardy and Wikipedia. Things I don't do for fun include working at Kmart. I'm hoping this blog will help me document my life more efficiently. I plan on posting photos, videos, collages etc. as they become available. So anyone who is reading this let me know what you think as time goes on. For now, here's a picture or two of a shrine my roommate Zach made with our living room junk and holiday decorations
